Clumber Park Engagement Photoshoot
Clumber Park Engagement Photoshoot

Lauren & Tom suggested we head to Clumber Park for pre wedding shoot as it was so close to where they live, and I’m so glad they took up the offer. What a day for it, with blue skies and fluffy clouds – April has been kind! Clumber Park is a National Trust property with acres of parkland and great views. Awesome all round, and we made some awesome images! So much so that you’ll see a few new personal favourites of mine below. It’s such a varied place and great for taking some long distance shots and trying out different compositions with the landscape. So we spent a couple hours walking around the park, photographed them two and also their son Harry and a dog. With some great light, stunning scenery and Lauren & Tom playing their part, it really made my job feel too easy!
I like to include an engagement shoot whenever I’m booked to photograph a wedding. For me, it’s important because it’s a great chance to get to know you a little better before your wedding day. I also get to see how you are in front of the camera. It’s important for you too because you get to understand more about how I work and get to know a bit more about me. Engagement, or pre-wedding photo shoots as they are sometimes known, are also great because they get us all out of the house! You can’t beat a nice, relaxed walk. I’m happy to shoot them almost anywhere; beaches, towns, the countryside and stately homes all make great venues for these portrait style shoots. Feel free to be adventurous if you like though. Is there something daring or different you’d like to do for your engagement shoot? I’d be happy to come along and take some pictures. Alternatively, a relaxing walk in the woods is good with me too. If you have kids and/or pets, I’m happy for you to bring them along too and make a family portrait session out of it. If you’d like to discuss engagement shoots more, contact me now and we’ll take it from there.
